About Dale Klatzker, PhD

Dale Klatzker has spent more than four decades in behavioral health and human services as a clinician, chief executive, board leader, and advisor.
That career has given him a broad view of how complex human services organizations actually work, from direct service and residential operations to executive management, governance, regulation, and finance.
He has held four CEO positions and national leadership roles, including serving as Board Chair of the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare, now the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, as well as gubernatorial appointments in Rhode Island and Pennsylvania.
After his tenure as a full-time CEO, Dale established an independent practice. His work now centers on expert witness and litigation consulting, with selective strategic advisory work for behavioral health and human services organizations.

Complex problems rarely have simple answers, but experience helps identify the right questions to ask. Whether evaluating organizational practices in litigation or advising a governing board, his role is the same: examine the evidence, identify the critical issues, and provide an independent, practical assessment.
